In Geed Deeble, Somaliland, the Cheetah Rescue and Conservation Center (CRCC) is taking practical actions to protect the endangered cheetah population. As the first facility of its kind in the Horn of Africa, the CRCC not only provides a haven for sick and injured cheetah cubs to recover, but also takes solid steps in promoting wildlife protection and ecological balance.
Until three months ago CRCC had to spend $4,000 per month to “extend the life” of two diesel generators. The high cost and environmental pollution became constraints on the conservation cause.
Today, SolarLandAfrica and EnerShare have built a solar system with 112 photovoltaic panels, 4 smart charge controllers and 40 5.12kWh EnerShare 2U 51.2V 100Ah lithium batteries as the core . EnerShare 2U 51.2V 100Ah lithium batteries work closely with Victron Energy inverters to meet 98% of its basic electricity needs. This system can reduce carbon emissions by 280 tons per year, and the backup diesel generator is only used as an "emergency option", and it is expected to recover all investment costs within four years.
In this system, the combination of Victron inverter and EnerShare 2U 51.2V 100Ah lithium battery is called "power dual engine":
Victron Inverters: Smart Energy Hub
As the "brain" of power conversion, Victron inverters can easily drive CRCC's 30kW freezer and three kilometers of water pipelines with a powerful three-phase 90kVA output. Its original intelligent parallel technology can be compatible with four groups of three devices in parallel, expanding the output power to 180kVA
EnerShare 2U 51.2V 100Ah Lithium Battery: Invisible Energy Fortress
As the "heart" of the energy storage system, EnerShare 2U 51.2V 100Ah lithium battery has a standard 2U size and stacking design, which can be easily adapted to computer rooms, corridors and even corners. The battery capacity is 5.12kWh-82 kWh (up to 16 can be connected in parallel). Its original automatic identification technology is compatible with different SOC battery packs, and with the intelligent temperature control system, it still maintains 90% available efficiency at a high temperature of 35°C in Somaliland. The modular architecture also supports stable output under peak load, building a solid energy barrier for the cheetah's rehabilitation life.
In the hometown of cheetahs, EnerShare uses 2U 51.2V 100Ah lithium batteries to write an environmental fable of this era: when every kilowatt-hour of electricity comes from sunlight, protection is no longer a burden, but the most elegant tribute from mankind to nature.
